Science Vocabulary – How do you handle it?

    We are about to begin AIG World of Plants.  It is the first time we have done anything other than living books for science.  I am curious how you all handle the vocab words?  Do you make the kids write them down?  Do you quiz them on the words?

    We like quizlet for flash cards. I hate loose paper so this works for us.

    I did not know about this gem!!! Do you use it in other areas of school as well?

    Yes! I use it for dd’s French and I used it for AG prepositions and vocab from certain books like the Golden Goblet. It’s simple to use and effective.

    We have been using Quizlet for vocabulary words from literature. I use http://www.verbalworkout.com/ to select words from their current literature reading and create a list on Quizlet.
