Science, need LB suggestions

    Hello,

    I am looking for living science books for grade 6/7.  We are using Apologia Human A /P and it’s getting too dry/”textbookish”.  We have already read Galen and are currently reading  Florence Nightengale.  I would like books that are about the topic not historical as we have that covered.

    What have some of you used that you could recommend?

    Have you looked in the free curriculum guide?  If you look under the science section and click on living books, it lists a bunch.  There are headings for different science topics.  Maybe there is something in there.  It even has a link for where to find most of the books.
