I’m trying out the CM Organizer and have a few questions:

    1) If I want to break down an assignment for an older student in to daily “bits” how do I that?  For example, if my daughter is doing a module in Apologia’s Exploring Biology and I want her to read x amount of pages on Monday and do the experiment, then have her read several more pages and answer the “On Your Own” questions, on Tues, etc., am I able to do that with this organizer?  Or can I only assign a book or a whole chapter or a set of pages to be read?

    2) If I want to use an anthology of poetry or stories and study maybe three poems in the first term and them pick up the book again in the second term and study three more poems, do I have to schedule the anthology two separate times (so that it shows up as two separate resources on my child’s resource list)?

Thank you so much for the help!

For number 1, you can create your own copy of the resource (ie, the Biology) and edit the divisions to how you will want them…  so division 1 would be read pages 1-5.  division 2 would be “Do experiment on page 6”, etc.  You would need to go through the book yourself…

For number 2, yes, it would be easiest to schedule the anthology the 2 times (with a different start date) with the poems you want for each term selected.  Yes, it will show up twice on the scheduler portion of the organizer.
