    Karen, I had a laugh today about this post, because of an article that came up on my FB feed.  It’s about not trying out ever homeschool method you come across, but instead focusing on what works for your family.  The article was written by Sarah MacKenzie herself!  lol

    ? That is funny! It sounds like an article I should read once a year. ?

    I ended up and tweaked our last year’s checklists, which I think will work perfectly for us.

    Although, the thought of fresh composition books, new pens, an excuse to write in four composition books (four daughters) with those new pens, trying out all the colors……..is almost too much temptation. Is it any wonder I wanted to give the spiral ntbks a try?

    I seriously think it’s a great idea. I just know myself (now that you all disussed the idea) and how tired I would get of doing it every night…..and how the perfectionist in me would hate the sometimes sloppy handwriting…and how annoyed I’d be at myself for not picking a color and sticking with it. ?
