    Hi,

We having a tea party Thursday and I thought ya’ll might have some good ideas. Right now the itinerary is that they will make a craft (a royal scepter, unless someone has a better idea), we’ll read A True Princess (to bring some balance to the whole affair), and play a game of which I do not have any ideas yet. Then we’ll have tea/lunch and some playtime. The ages are 3-7 little girls and I wish I knew how to post photos because I know they’ll be so very precious! Any and all ideas for activities are food will be appreciated.

    Blessings,

    Cindy

When my 18 yo daughter turned 9, she had a “Doll & Me” tea party. The girls made beaded tiaras for themselves & their dolls. Gosh, the info is still on the internet!! http://www.makingfriends.com/d_tiara.htm I seem to recall some mini bagels with pink cream cheese. It was at Valentine’s Day, so we did lots of Valentine themed things with decorations and such. I believe we did something with poetry – did I write a poem? I can’t remember! My daughter remembers mini-cupcakes, and cinnamon hearts which the girls stirred into their cups of tea! 😛 Yuck! She also remembers making heart-shaped broaches/pins with jewels and gems. Sorry I can’t recall more. I hope it’s loads of fun!!

    Cindy, (great name :D)

My youngest daughter attended a party years ago where they hung up a large picture of a frog. Then put bright red lipstick on the girls. The girls were then blindfolded and tried to “kiss the frog”. She loved it.

PBJ (or any kind really) sandwiches can be made and then cut with cookie cutters (hearts, stars, etc.).

Dress up is of course, always fun. Everyone wears their favorite princess dress or if you have plenty to share you could do that also.

I also vaguely remember a game we played long, long time ago at our youngest’s party about sugar cubes on a teaspoon and walking across the room and not spilling.

Hope this helps. Have a great time!

I love these ideas! I’ll let you know how it turns out. I did come up with my own game. I’m going to have my 14 and 16 yo dds act as models for the little ones to dress up. We’ll split into two groups and let the little ones choose a dress from the dress-up box and do their hair and makeup. I haven’t told them that I also plan to email their photos all over the world (well, maybe just our neighborhood). Brave girls…letting 4yos do their makeup…

    Blessings,

    Cindy
