One of the main reasons I signed up for the organizer is I am horrible about keeping track of records. I like the idea of being able to create a report if I ever have to prove my kids have done something.

However, I am having a problem in reports with the way we use the organizer. I am pretty  happy with the way I am learning to get the organizer to work for us. However, when I went to print the reports this is what is happening. If I used detailed reports I get the items that I have them work on but never finish, violin, 4H, volleyball, nature studies, any pe type activity, most of the things for my 6 yr old etc. However, if I do a summary, I get nothing they have worked on. It leaves huge gaps in the recording process. Is there a way to have the things worked on show up at least once in summary?

The detailed reports should show resources that are finished as well as worked on. Are you not seeing any finished items on there?

Yes, I see the worked on in detailed. I was wanting to have at least once something show up in summary. I was wanting to be able to print out what they have done in the year without having to print pages and pages

Oh, I see. Currently we don’t have any change like that in the works, but I’ll add it to our “future features to discuss” list. I can see how that could be handy.

If it will help any, one thing I do that cuts down on the printing is to just save the report as a .pdf file. You can keep a copy on your hard drive and even copy the file onto a CD for safekeeping if you want to.

Okay. I guess I could add someone once and complete it and then reschedule it again and just use the worked on feature. It would show up then.
