Last night ds5 was not allowed on the computer. (He’d been on it way too long). The DVD he was watching was over. Dd2 had gone to bed. The toys were picked up, and for whatever reason he decided not to make another mess. He wasn’t asking me to read to him. Instead, he was sitting quietly looking at several of my Bibles. (KJV, NKJV, Living). He even asked me to read to me from them. When he was looking at them, he was treating them well. A few minutes ago, I saw him looking at one on his bed. When he abandoned it and went back to playing, I picked it up to put it away. He hadn’t damaged it in any way. Neither had dd. Is he ready for his own Bible? His grandmother’s been asking what to get him for Christmas.

    Thanks,

    Karen

My two children have had their own Bible’s since they were old enough to hold one. We started off with small, easy to handle ones, and have now progressed to a larger one. They always use their own during worship service, Bible classes and at home when reading, copying or studying during school time.

It’s just my opinion, but I would definately get him his own. 😉
