I have been playing with the free download of Startwrite and really like what it can do, but one thing I have not been able to figure out so far before I decide to buy this…

Can you create a multiple page document so that when you cut and paste (oh say several paragraphs from the Gospel Of John) you can paste onto several pages?  When I have tried this it says “too much text” and when I try to creat a second page it just opens a whole new and seperate document.

So are you limited to one page docs with this program?

If not, how do make them several pages long?

    Thanks!

I don’t have the brand new version but the one just prior. All I do is click “Insert” in the top menu bar and then “Page”. A little window pops up asking where you want the page inserted (ex: before or after current page, at the beginning or end of the whole document).

So yes – you can do several pages long documents!

    Thanks Tristan!

So I could then copy loooong text from say Blueletterbible or a Shakespeare source and it will paste on to the two or three pages I created in one step?

Do you see any reason to buy the new one as they are still selling the prior version.

    Thanks so much!!
