    Has anyone used this resource?

For what ages do you think they would be most useful? I am doing Ancient Egypt next year with a 10 and

an 11 yr. old and was wondering. From the samples, it seems more appropriate for, say late middle/early high school.

    Thanks,

    Rachel

One of my daughters read it in high school and got a bit bogged down in it.

We have this book and dh and I enjoy it, but it is not so much for the kids to use…maybe for high school if it is of interest to the student.  We did show the dvd to the kids and it was nice to see the pyramids in the video.  I found the timeline near the back of the book especially useful.  They compare Egytian names to Bible names and time periods and dates.  The dates are Biblical and not secular, which was of great use to me.

okay, so definitely for the high school crowd, except it could be used by me as a tool in teaching.

He has a new one out called Unveiling the Kings of Israel.

    Thanks,

We have it. My 9 year old enjoyed reading some of it, but I just allowed him to pick and choose what he wanted to read. More like you would a coffee table book. It is definitely more of a teaching aid or for older students.
