    Hello. I have been curious about folk songs. I notice that there are a lot of other Charlotte Mason websites/curriculum providers/blogs mention folk songs, but CSM does not. Is there a reason for this?

    It was purely a priorities decision, Naomi. I wanted to include a singing component, as Charlotte did, but I thought that the hymns were more important for my children to learn than the folksongs, so I focused on those. Feel free to include folksongs if you would like to. 🙂
