Those of you who have used Queen Homeschool’s Discovering Nature and Science series, are they print books or e-books? I can’t seem to find the answer in the descriptions, so I’m guessing they are printed materials. Thanks.
my3boysParticipantI think I have one of these books and it’s a spiral notebook. I’ll check to make sure if you don’t get a better answer.
SueParticipantI just found the answer on the Queen’s site. It is a spiral-bound book.
So….would anyone have this that would be willing to sell it? Just thought I’d ask….
marmiemamaParticipantI haven’t been to her site in a little bit and thought it was neat that she made a new high school curriculum on natural alternative therapies. Very cool!
SueParticipantThat’s the book I’m looking for. I forgot to include the title in my post, but it is called Every Herb Bearing Seed by Sandi Queen.
MistyParticipantI haven’t seen this, but question, does it come with some answers? I am very interested in this as a high school science.
retrofamParticipantBased on her other books, you read the story format and learn basics, and then do Internet research. If I am correct, there wouldn’t be a lot in the answer key because of the individual research. I wouldn’t let a lack of full answer key deter you though. There is a lot to be learned from researching a particular herb, etc. There should be a sample on Queens website.
I agree that this is exciting to see an alternative health curriculum. I would buy it if funds weren’t so short. My kiddos will take my homemade alternative health class instead.
SueParticipantI am not too concerned about not having a specific answer key because I am very interested in the topic and plan to work through it as well….or, maybe I’ll just let DD do the research first and save me some time, LOL!
