I am very interested in opportunities for public speaking training for my children.  For the past two years we have participated in ICC (Institute for Cultural Communicators), but I am not sure it is a great fit for us.  I see that there is another organization, called NCFCA, and I am wondering what the differences are?  Or if there are any other good options for homeschoolers to train in public speaking?  Thank you for any ideas and input.

Is there a mock trial team near you?  That would be an excellent option if your children are old enough.  The homeschool team in our area has placed very high at a national level.

I taught Speech in Public High Schools for 11 years before getting to stay at home to homeschool my own kids this year. During that time, I also was involved with the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association, for which I helped coach homeschool co-op students and served as a judge at Tournaments hosted by NCFCA. I highly recommend it! https://www.ncfca.org
