I was wondering, if I pay for the CM Organizer, is there a feature where I can print off everything I have scheduled for the year? And it would show the breakdown of what is scheduled, including chapters and page numbers, etc.?

As far as I can tell there are two report options that may be what you need.

    1. A Bibliography report which includes all scheduled resources, but I dont see that chapter or page numbers are included. Or

    2. A Progress Report that will show you all completed and worked on assignments, this will include chapter or page number worked on. This report will not show you books scheduled for the future though.

There’s not a way to see every chapter or page number scheduled, but you can create a Bibliography report for the upcoming school year that will show every resource you have scheduled. That report is available to paid subscribers.

Is this a feature that might be available in the future? Also, is there a possibility in the future of paying for a year’s worth of the CM organizer instead of monthly?

I can add that idea to our wishlist of features to consider adding in the future. To help us better think about how it would work, can you tell me what you would use that report for?

If you contact us about an annual subscription, we can set that up for you.

Well basically, I would not realistically use the organizer like it’s set up, with the daily plan being marked as finished each day. I’m not really interested in keeping track of that stuff online. I just want to use the organizer to plan my school year and then print off all my plans.

What I would REALLY love would be to have a way of scheduling subjects to where they are basically on a loop, not necessarily assigned to a particular day, and then I can make my way through the list, and just do whatever is next on the list, and not have to even keep track of which subject is next, and things like that. I would basically use it as a paper version of the daily plan.

We want that loop idea too! It’s already on our wish list—we just can’t make any promises right now about when/if it will be added.

I’m very interested in software to work as kymama describes here as well!

Agree, I feel like there’s no way to check myself.  I just signed up and am starting to plug things in but I don’t think I can continue because my thought process is – What if I spend all these hours putting things in but miss something?  I won’t know.  Say for example I scheduled to read “A Child’s History of the World” with “Story of Civilization” but overlooked the chapter on Alexander?  There’s no way to know if a mistake was made.

I want to say it’s amazing that so many resources are already in with so much detail and we are even able to select chapters etc.  That is so helpful.

For me though, the “when” is probably the most important feature needed from the organizer because I already have the list of the “what”.  The Bibliography shows “what” is scheduled but I can’t see “when” (i.e. go to week 15 and make sure I have both books for that topic.)  Also agree about wanting a paper copy to just flip through each week.

Maybe there’s a way to setup the organizer to follow the “Planning Your CM Education in 5 Simple Steps” worksheets?  I love this book and have used it for the last two years, however, I never actually get through it because I can’t fit everything on the sheets, I get overwhelmed trying to keep up with all the resources manually, and then it’s September and time for school to start so I just have to jump in where I am.  I would love to actually complete all the sheets and have a solid plan when we start our year!  Haha

I think I will stick with the e-Book for now because I can’t check myself on the Organizer.  HOWEVER, I want y’all to know that I have gained so much from the website, e-books, and YouTube videos.  It’s because of them I have learned how to make CM work in our home, and that’s invaluable.  Thanks for all the hard work, it’s greatly appreciated and blessing so many families.
