Pregnancy Prayers Please

    Hi everyone!  If you follow me on Facebook or read my blog you already know this, but we are expecting a baby again, sometime this fall.  Will you keep me in your prayers please? Tomorrow afternoon I head to the obstetrician for an extra early ultrasound to check on this sweet baby. The doctors do not know if there was an underlying cause for last November’s ectopic pregnancy/emergency surgery so this time around they’re doing early checks on several fronts (bloodwork and ultrasound). In about 3 weeks we will have another ultrasound to look for a heartbeat, this ultrasound will be too early to see that. This time they are just checking to see that the amniotic sac is in the uterus where it should be. Despite this being my 13th pregnancy I’m a bit nervous going to the ultrasound alone because more than once now I’ve been to an ultrasound alone and received the worst possible news (no heartbeat or baby in the wrong place/ectopic). Prayers for a peaceful heart are much appreciated!

    Praying for good news of a healthy baby/pregnancy.
    I did look at your blog today and noticed a picture (from your Feb 27th post) of one of your boys (Daniel??). Red hair, navy shirt with stripes and white sleeves. We are amazed at the resemblance to our DS!! I did a double take, DH said ‘Oh WOW!’ and Nate claimed ‘We look alike!’ The hair is identical in colour and style, and faces are very similar. Too funny

    Prayers for you, Tristan.  I know that feeling all too well.  On the positive side, hearing/seeing the heartbeat is so reassuring.

    Update: ultrasound showed amniotic sack in the uterus. Yay! I go back in a week and a half to look for a heartbeat, right now it looks like I’m just over five weeks along. Thank you for your prayers now and in the future.
