Our 19 month old, Jude, is having another MRI tomorrow morning (Thursday Oct 21 at 8:15 am CO time). He was diagnosed with brain cancer and hydrocephaly at 2 months. He is done with treatments for now but still has monitoring MRI’s to check the two low grade tumors that are still present in his brain.
We would appreciate prayer for his safety (he is put under general anesthetic to hold him still), for the results (we are praying for shrinkage of the tumors) and for peace (the stress of what the results could mean can be tough to deal with).
Thanks,
RebeccamissingtheshireMemberPrayers coming your way – we are so sorry to hear about this, and pray that the results will be all good. Linda
MistyParticipantMy heart goes out to you and your family. I will keep him in my prayers.
my3boysParticipantWe have been praying for your son and family today. Unfortunately, I thought your son’s name was Luke…I read your post once and that’s what I thought I saw, I suppose…either way, my kids have been praying for your little boy. I have described the situation to them and even though my 4 yo said “Luke” God knows who he was praying for…I’m confident of that. I will let them know his real name and they will be glad to have it right.
God Bless you all.
missceegeeParticipantRebecca,
I’m so sorry to hear of this difficult situation. I will pray for your dear boy, Jude, and for your family, too.

EsbyMemberSaying prayers for Jude and your family, of course.
revwifeParticipantI’ll be praying for your son and your family.
2flowerboysParticipantPraying for your family and son.
6boys1girlParticipantThanks for all the prayers!
Jude did well with the MRI and anesthetic today.
The tumors are stable, meaning that they are not growing. YEAH! We received the wonderful news that he doesn’t need another MRI for 6 months (the longest break from the hospital we’ve had in 17 months!).
If you happen to think of Jude in the next 6 months, could you please pray that the tumors shrink.
Thanks,
RebeccaEsbyMemberHoorah for Jude! Continued prayers for him.
