Anyone have any bright ideas on what to call our Plutarch readings on my son’s high school transcript?  “Citizenship” seems to be a little different meaning than it was in Charlotte’s day; I’m not sure adcoms will understand what is meant.  It doesn’t really seem to fit with my Government and Political Philosophy course; nor the World Literature one.  Any ideas?

Can you name it whatever you want?

I’d be tempted to call it something like….

    Citizenship through Plutarch

    or

    The Writings of Plutarch

Based on some of the transcript info and seminars I’ve attended, I have used the same book in several catagories – depending upon other readings upon occasion.

So, you could use Plutarch as Civics (with other books), Citizenship (possibly w/ others, though I’m inclined to leave it as is), Ancient Writings (include others like Josephus, etc. if studied), and even Personal Development (with other books)

**Edit – I see Citizenship and Personal Development as separate, though some would call them the same thing – or that C is inclusive of PD, perhaps.
