I am looking for a good piano curriculum for my self-motivated dd, 14, to use at home. I’ve heard of:
Albert’s Premier at Home – http://www.premierpianocourse.com/
Homeschool Piano – http://homeschoolpiano.jazzedge.com/
Learn and Master (also at Christianbook)- https://www.learnandmaster.com/homeschool/piano/
Anyone have any familiarity with any of these? Opinions?
Thanks
Rachel WhiteParticipantbump…
caedmynParticipantWe’ve bought one called Simply Music but haven’t started it yet. There’s a couple of threads about it here if you want to look for reviews/info.
Rachel WhiteParticipantThank you. I’ve heard of that one. Does it teach music theory/sight reading?
Jessica PerteetParticipantI am a piano teacher and have used Alfred’s Premier Piano Course for many of my students. I think it is a great resource and would highly recommend it!

Rachel WhiteParticipantThank you, Jessica. I have found a local homeschool co-op that has piano instruction, using Albert’s, so I’ve decided to put her in that class. I think after a year of personal instruction, she may be able to go solo, but I think learning proper posture and hand positioning comes best by personal instruction at the beginning.
Jessica PerteetParticipantAbsolutely!
