    Hello Everyone.

I have a question and I’m not sure if anyone can answer it or not.

Can you do partial homeschooling? Send the kids to public school for only certain subjects/classes/days and homeschool for the rest??? I’m sure this depends on which state you live in. I’ve been looking around and I can’t seem to find any information about it for my state. We live in Michigan.

I would be truly grateful for any and all help/information/direction that anyone can give me on this matter.

    Thanks!

Yes! A coupoe of kids at my high school did this. It’s called “concurrent enrollment” and varies by state. You’ll have to call the school you’re interested in and ask about it.

I would also contact HSLDA about it. I find that schools often don’t know the full law and answer with what they think the law is.

I do know it varies state by state but HSLDA would be able to answer specific to your state
