    Please check half.com ebay has 2 books of the Oxford for $30.

    First, I found several copies at reasonable prices today:

    But, I want to know how well you all like this book. I have it and I don’t like having a book where we have to skip the first chapter (because of evolution). Also, the dates don’t match to the ones we use for Egypt. I am thinking of selling mine. Is it worth keeping and ignoring these flaws?

    Thanks for the heads up on Amazon.  I snagged a copy and hope I actually get it.  Every time I try to buy one, it falls through.  Guess only time will tell. 🙂

    P.S.  We have had the book checked out of the library and I like it fine.  Sonya shares which pages to use, so we’ve only used the pages indicted in our SCM Module 1 book so far.

    Do you keep this as a teacher resource or do your kids freely look through it?

    Sarah, Mod 2-3 the jr high kids actually read entire chapters – so I guess it will be both. lol

    I read whatever the pages are outloud to my children during our group reading time.
