    Good question. I looked up both on Google books and the tables of contents look the same. Take a look . . .

    Our Island Story

    I wonder if it was originally published as An Island Story and more recent publications have just changed that first word. I noticed in the original 1906 version, the cover says “An” Island Story but the headers on the pages of the book all say “Our” Island Story. Interesting . . .

    My understanding is that they are the exact same book.  “Our Island Story” is the name in England (and it is their history….)  and “An Island Story” is the name of the book elsewhere.
