One of our bean bag chairs was a victim of our recent battle with a stomach bug…… Does anyone have advice on cleaning it? It’s one of the corduroy bean bag chairs from target. The zipper on the cover is held shut with a BIG staple. I’m afraid to take the cover off for fear the “beans” are not in any other kind of bag.
Alright – so it can be done. Can you buy more filler beans, if we lose some in the process?
And, yes, I have plans to securely close-it-up after we’re done washing it. I have at least one girl who would LOVE to open up her bean bag chair – and I told her it couldn’t be done! Guess she’ll find out differently *L*. And then I’ll have to make it as tight as Fort Knox.
🙂 retrofam – thanks for the reminder about securing it. It’s amazing how children think of dangerous things to do- and as adults, we don’t even see it coming.
Off to let the beans loose! *L*
