OT – need no-bake recipes

Okay, this is way off-topic, but I am teaching a Proverbs 31 class to a Keepers at Home group next week, and I’m am trying to narrow down what I want to do for the craft/activity.  I would like to make a couple of little sweets for them to take home as a gift for someone.  (We’re making little paper boxes that they can put them in.)

The problem is that they must be no-bake, and, unless I borrow a hotplate, I can’t really melt chocolate or anything in the room we meet in.  I found some kids no-bake candy/sweet recipes to choose from, but most of them don’t say in the recipe whether they have to be refrigerated or how long they will keep.  So, I thought I’d ask to see if anyone has any tried-and-true recipes like this that would be appropriate.  The girls in the group are ages 5 to 11, and there are about 15-18 of them.

    Thanks in advance!

What about decorating pre-baked (homemade or bought) cookies or cupcakes? Or maybe, peanut butter balls or perhaps make your own trail mix with a variety of items to choose from?

    Blessings,
