OT: Grateful for freedom

    Fellow homeschoolers, 

    I just wanted to post about my gratefulness to live in a country that allows us to homeschool. We just received something in the mail asking about registering our oldest in K this year. All day M-F. It makes me so happy and grateful to God that I get to keep her home with me for the years to come-enjoying her sweetness, curiosity,friendship  and being able to shape her faith and core values for life. Where I come from(India), this is not even possible. My family members there have enrolled their kiddos in school and the moms so miss having their children at home. Their education style burns out children real fast. God is so good to us!

    Absolulutely.  I think we need these reminders even more.  I believe that we in this country have become too complacent about a lot of the privileges we have.  If we aren’t aware of them, watch them, and stand for them, we will see them disappear before our very eyes. 

    I pray that God will continue to keep us in His hands.
