I have a question. For some reason the organizer has my start date for 2009/2010 school year as 7/23/09 but we started 7/1 or 7/2 and my resources show that date also. So when I create a report (and put 2009/2010 school year) or try to look at attendance record it won’t show me the correct info. I know in the reports I can type in a fixed date but in attendance I can’t. Is there a way to reprogram my start date..for the past two years we started later in July but this year we started earlier..how can I make the organizer realize that. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
I believe you can go into your Account (upper right corner of the screen) and click on Student Information. You should see a place to put in your Start Date for your school year.
Dear SCM team, I just got set up for the 30 day trial. A friend showed me her acct. and printouts from last school year and I was so excited to get started. However, I don’t really know how to get started. Are there instructions on the website to walk me through it? Help Please.
Have you checked out the CM Organizer Tour videos yet? If not they may be helpful. All the videos are on the page I linked to. Individual videos from the same page are linked throughout the Organizer in the context of the part you are working in.
Is there a way for me to re-order a resource we are using? I want to do the lessons in a different order and when I tried skipping a lesson and then going back to finish it on a different day I could not. I ended up deleting the resource and re-adding it.
You can do a resource out of order if you add your own resource with the lessons in the order you want. For example, you could Add a Resource for “Analytical Grammar” and then list the divisions as Units, then fill in the division numbers in the order you want to use the units (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) or whatever. (I’m not even sure which units those numbers are, so don’t take that example as a recommendation! )
It’s on our feature wish list to add the ability to rearrange a resource’s chapters as you’re scheduling it. That feature just isn’t available yet, so this explanation is how to do it for now.
