Hello,  I know that for some of you music practice is imporatant.  Also, lessons.  But sometimes taking them and waiting around or maybe you live to far to do that isn’t an option.  I found this and thought I would share.  I don’t know much about it, but it’s worth looking into if you are interested.  Prices seem normal for our area at least.

Thank you Misty! We were able to have our babysitter/piano teacher over to our house for lessons before we moved. Now we are babysitter and piano teacher-less! I appreciate the information :).

Hi.  Thought I would add another voice to the discussion.  I’m a piano teacher too, I’m a huge Charlotte Mason advocate, and a former homeschool mom.  I have had an awesome experience with teaching music online – for the last four years I’ve been working with students in rural Zambia.  I look forward to their weekly lessons, but a real highlight for them is connecting with my US homeschool piano families from their homes for an online group class.  It’s fun for them to share musically, but it has also been a great cultural exchange.

For family reasons, my studio is very small and I don’t have any openings, but MacPhail Center for Music offers a neat, affordable online package for homeschoolers.  If you’re interested, details are at:  http://macphail.org/OFFERINGS/ONLINE-LESSONS
