Hello!  I’m wondering how to simplify how I enter ongoing assignments.  For example, I include piano practice in the Organizer but I am at a loss as to how to set up the divisions so that it makes sense.  I’ve tried setting up “Days” with 31 divisions, with the intention of “skipping” the days they don’t practice, but here’s how it appears on the screen if they practice days 1 and 2 and skip day 3:

    Day 1 (ck as finished)

    Day 2 (ck as finished)

Day 3 “4” (skipped day 3, so now this appears)

I just wanted it to go to “Day 4” next.  I have several other added resources set up the same way, and I’d really like to simplify the process.  The way I’m doing it, I have to set them up every month.

Do I just set it up as one division and check off “worked on” every day and never finish the resource?   Will that still print on reports?  Suggestions needed!  Thanks!

I have mine set up with divisions for Month. (You can give it 9 or 12 divisions, however many months you want.) Then I check Worked On every day they practice during that month and Finished at the end of the month. You could probably do the same thing for Week or some other time period. That kind of set up gives me the flexibility of checking the Worked On whenever they practice, plus it eliminates the screen cluttering of all those Worked On boxes for a whole year.

The Worked On days will show up on a Detailed Report, yes, and count toward the Attendance Report.
