One Thing: Shakespeare

I thought perhaps some of you might be interested in this class. It is offered to parents he would like some general knowledge in the area of teaching Shakespeare. The class starts in May and runs one month. It is offered through Brave Writer (www.bravewriter.com). Cost is $99.

May is Shakespeare Month at Brave Writer, and we’re going to spend the month with a single play, the late romantic comedy Twelfth Night. After learning about Shakespeare’s background, we’ll dive into the play scene by scene and act by act, uncovering the plot, humor, characters, and themes of this complex and truly delightful play. We’ll be especially examining the themes of disguise, mistaken identity, the ideal vision of women, and “true” love.
