I am wonderin how long you parents hold on to your old used workbooks, papers, etc. I just moved and have last year and the year before still in the boxes and wondering if I keep them or burn them?

I didn’t know if it was like our tax stuff you know hold on for ever “just in case”. 🙂

    Thanks

The thought process at my house is not how long I hang on to it but “what” is it I hang on to…in other words, after we’ve ‘ended’ our school year, I sort through all the workbooks, portfolios, papers, etc. I toss anything deemed not important or sentimental. This tends to drastically reduce the volume of work that I keep from year to year. Also, as for those ‘projects’ that take up shelf space, we take a picture of them to serve as our memory of the project. This includes salt maps, clay creations, large history type backgrounds, etc. I’m not very creative but this is how it’s done at my house!
