Notebooking

    Is notebooking a CM thing?  Frankly, my son hates it.  My dd loved it.  If he has a place to put his dictation, narration, copywoork, maps, etc.  is there a reason to do notebooking?  He’s in 3rd grade.

    No, notebooking is NOT a CM requirement.  About the only thing that is pretty central are nature notebooks.  The rest seems to “fit” with many CM families, but if your son is doing dictation, narration, copywork and maps, he is fine.  No need to “dress it up” further.
