New here….what do all of these abbrev's mean? :)

    Maybe I’m the only one but what in the world do all of these acronyms and abbreviations mean? Can someone help me out with these?

    Dds, WP, etc…

    DD=Dear Daughter 

    DS=Dear Son 

    DH=dear husband 

    HTH=Hope this helps 

    Not sure about WP haha.

    🙂  Welcome!   not sure about WP…. I’m still learning myself. but Dd is dear daughter DS dear Son and DH is dear husband.  Hope that Helps (HTH).

    Thanks ladies! I have figured some out on my own too but sometimes I chuckle b/c it seems like people even make some of these up at random just to confuse the “outsiders” 🙂 tee-hee

    Here is a list that Doug put together.  There is also this forum thread with a few more.  WP could mean Winter Promise or maybe even Weston Price (a way of eating based on the research of Weston Price) depending on the context!
