I uploaded a picture of my girls to see if it works. This was taken last month on our farm. I asked them to look at each other’s noses and this is what I got….

Yes, sometimes it takes a while for all the servers to catch up to the changes. (I probably have the wrong terms in that statement, but the general rule should be close. Sorry, Doug.
)The avatars usually get updated very quickly. However, everyone’s Web browser software may take different amounts of time before it checks to see if there’s a new version. Some Internet providers may also store images for a while to make serving them to you seem faster.
The end result is that some of you will see a new avatar image sooner than others and just waiting a while will eventually update it.
Hi, i wanted to show i finally made an avatar, and it really only took about 10 minutes to do (after i got the email link from the gravatar sight) I waited to do it cause im not computer techy so i figured it would take a long time to do but it went really quick!

So, if I sign in at gravatar, obviously I don’t have to have the same username there as I do here, right? But, somehow it will put my avatar in the forums I use that use gravatar? I’m confused…..(as usual when it comes to technology)
I believe it’s tied to your e-mail address, which is behind the scenes. So you can use whatever username you want, as long as that same e-mail address is part of your registration. Is that correct, Doug?
That’s right, it’s tied to your e-mail address. You create a separate account with Gravatar and register one or more e-mail addresses. Your Gravatar will then automatically show up not only here, but on any forum or in blog comments where the Gravatar service is used.
Ah-hah…I get it now. Do we have to pay you guys some kind of fee for your answering these kinds of questions for us?
