Need updated page number for 106 Days…

    I bought the book “106 Day of Creation” last year and I decided to use it this year with my children. We are studying Day 2 and one of the experiments listed to do, I can not find in the Science books. The lesson is Lesson #11 – More air pressure. It says that is should be in “How Science Works” on page 123. It’s not on that page and I have looked through the book. Anyone have the correct page or book?

    Hmmm, . . . I’m showing it at the bottom of page 123 in How Science Works, called “Blowing books away.” I wonder if your copy is different from mine. In mine, pages 122 and 123 are about “Air pressure” and contain two experiments and a demonstration. Do you see anything like that in your copy?

    I thought I would check because we are going to be on this lesson in a few days.  My copy of How Science Works has these experiments on pages 122-123 about “Air Pressure”.  “Air lift” on right corner of page 122, “The collapsing can” at the top of 123 and “Making a barometer” at the bottom of 123.  Mine is a 9th Ed. copyright 1991.    Hmmmm.

    Mine is copyrighted 1991 too, but doesn’t give an edition number that I can find. It has “Air lift” and “The collapsing can,” but the “Blowing books away” instead of your “Making a barometer.” Interesting . . .

    Mine is a 1991, 5th edition and I do not have the “Blowing books away” in my edition, The experiment sounds pretty simple, I am just a visual kinda person. I will play around with it this evening, so I can make sure I do it right with the children.

    Thank you so much for responding…interesting that there are two different types of “How Science Works.

    If it helps any, I just posted the text from my edition of the book on the 106 Days Links & Tips page. It doesn’t show the two photos, but maybe the additional description will help.
