need recommendation for science based readers

    Hi,

    I am planning next year for ds who will be 7. He is almost done explode the code 3 and is reading from Bob Books red and Sonlight readers 1. He is not really inspired by either of these, but i plan to finish them. I would like a set of sequential readers that are non-fiction science. Any suggestions?

    I was looking at the WInter Promise readers, but they are all on animals. Some books on animals would certainly be good, but Ds would appreciate some earth science too.

    Christian Liberty Press Nature Readers are nice and would be appropriate for that reading level, but I have only the first one, so I can’t say what the later ones cover.

    Book 2 covers crabs, wasps, bees, spiders.

    Book 3 covers ants, worms, flies, beetles.

    Book 4 covers birds, some insects, and some reptiles.

    Book 5 covers the wonderful way God made the human body to work.
