Need more boy books ala Dan Frontier & Jim Forest

    DD7 has read through every Dan Frontier and Jim Forest book that we have and is begging for more books. I need some ideas. He still struggles with some words and isn’t really ready for more difficulty quite yet.

    Has he read the Cowboy Sam?  Or Tom Logan? 

    My 7yo building fluency reader is enjoying the Nate the Great books as well.  Kind of twaddly maybe, but cute.  Ds tries to solve the mystery before Nate.  🙂
