My dd is just beginning her reading program this year.  I have combined some of the Delightful Reading ideas, CM ideas, and other ideas I have found and designed my own curriculum.  One day a week, we will be doing only games.

I would love to hear any and all ideas of games utilizing word and letter tiles, board games, anything you have come up with that help to reinforce lessons but keep them fun for the little guys!

    Thanks to all!

The first grade parade blog has a lot of cute printable game ideas that I used with my daughter last year.

We’ve used Peggy Kaye’s books over the years and love them. Her book “Games for Reading” has so many excellent ideas! If you have a good interlibrary loan system, they’ll most likely carry it. Have fun! Smile
