We’ve had fun watching this live web cam of a barn owl. I wanted to share the link.
PollyParticipantHere’s a link without the forum attached: http://www.sportsmansparadiseonline.com/Live_Owl_Nest_Box_Cam.html
RebekahyParticipantThanks for posting – very cool! The babies should be hatching ANY day! My girls are very into this – great substitute for a nature walk since we have snow here AGAIN!!!!
missceegeeParticipantI love this and can’t leave the site now!
Thanks for sharing.
csmammaParticipantThank you SO much for sharing this! We’re owl lovers around here. We had the opportunity to care for an injured & deserted baby Great Horned Owl a couple years ago, after finding him in a corn field near our property. My boys are so excited about this! Can’t wait to see those babies hatch! Thanks again! ~ heather
missceegeeParticipantWatching Molly inspired me to look for similar webcams and I found this site with several. The link takes you to a black bear and her cub in their den – http://www.wildearth.tv/static/wildearth/channels/we_bear_den.html .
You can choose to watch a white black bear hibernating, eagles, etc.
These web cams are so neat and will add a whole new dimension to our nature studies, one not possible without technology. WOW – seeing God’s creation in the natural habitat is so COOL!
Thanks again for turning me on to this possibility! I’m off to watch Molly and Hope the bear cub now.

RebekahyParticipantAt 1:20 pst on Monday, the man who placed the owl box in his yard and maintains the camera will be doing a talk to an elementary school – teaching them everything he has learned about owls. We can listen in, just by going to the link and watching as normal. Baby #1 was born yesterday!
missceegeeParticipantBaby # 1, Max, is soooo adorable. I find myself continuing to watch just to catch a glimpse of him.
I’ve caught a couple of Carlos’ talks now and they’ve been very informative.
Happy Owl Watching!
SweetMarieParticipantThanks for the link!
Today I am picking up some owl pellets I ordered, so this will fit so nicely!!
The boys are excited!
I think I should dig up some owl stories and our Wild Birds book, along with our Robert Bateman book!
Laura.boraParticipantIn case anyone missed the first time around – Molly has her 2nd clutch of eggs, and they are due to hatch in 11 days.
missceegeeParticipantWoo hoo – more baby owls!
Rachel WhiteParticipantThank you for bringing this back to our attention. we enjoyed and learned so much the first time around as we watched the entire process-including the easter bunny incident and the ridiculous broohahah (sp?) that followed!
Will be watching again! Yeah!
