Is this guide for nature study? Or science? Or both at the same time? How does it mesh with Module 1 History, since that covers creation as well?

And finally, are the books listed in the 106 Days booklist totally necessary? So far I’ve been unable to find many of the books listed in my inter-loan library system.

It’s basically for one year of science in the lower grades, but it also contains ideas for nature study if you want to use them.

In History Module 1, you start with creation and go through Deuteronomy. 106 Days takes each day of creation and focuses on what was made that day. So you would start with Light and study light, shadows, color, etc. Then you would go to Day Two of Creation and study what was made on those days. 106 Days can be done any year, but some people like to combine it with History Module 1.

The books that are listed are the ones that were available to me and that we liked. Feel free to substitute other living books that are available to you. (It’s frustrating when good living books are removed from library systems!)
