    Hi I am really new to Nature Journal. I could use some advice. Like what is a nature journal? What do students write and put in it? What kind of journal – for water color? Is there a recommended resource I can read more about this? For elementry science. Thank you.

    You can read this 10-part blog series we did on nature study for starters. Then if you want more info, the book Hours in the Out-of-Doors has all the CM details.

    You might also check at your library for a couple of good examples:

    The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady and Keeping a Nature Journal (This one is a little new age-y in spots, but the practical tips are fabulous.)
