Narration and Long Term Memory

    Recently our school held examinations. Students were expected to retell narrations since the beginning of the school year 4 months ago. Many of them expressed to me that they had a hard time or could not remember what they read 4 months ago. How do you suggest we better support our students for a more successful examination time?

    Are you re-narrating the previous lesson before moving on to the next? That has helped my kids a lot.
