My DD8 started on LOF last year (had to start at Apples and is now about to start Edgewood)
If I was CM directed, she would read the books herself-narrate to me what she learned and do the problems right?
I was having her narrate to me, but then I can’t help my other DD6 with her math…she is starting LOF this year and can read much of it herself but I may read aloud to her…DD6 would probably do well with MUS, but she really wants to do LOF like her sister. I also have miquon math that I may print out for her to use as well.
What is the best way to let the kids do LOF if they can read alone?
I also have a DS4 that is just doing free play right now and I plan on getting the new letter set sometime this year for him AND I am due in December so as much as the kids can do themselves is great (Thank you Charlotte!)
I’ll be honest, I had to go back and read a chapter because I could not understand what it was talking about/asking for because I did not remember ever doing that in school, but I guess I don’t need to do that with every chapter.
