Has anyone used MOH Volume 1 without doing the mapping?  I’m doing another geography program which involves mapping.  I’m wondering if it’s necessary to do both?  Any suggestions?

If you are already using another geography program to map, it would seem unnecessary to do both.  Of course, maps vary greatly depending on time period.  That may need to be a consideration here.  Are the maps being created ancient or modern.  You might consider choosing some from MOH just to demonstrate how the world has changed through time.

We used MOH as a spine and do not do mapping, but I’m using this with younger children and we use Galloping the Globe loosely for geography.  I think it can be done without depending on the ages of your kids.
