I know this is not a program using living books, but I am wondering if anyone here uses it and if so, how do you like it?

    Thanks!

Hi Heather.  I have used it (up to lesson 11) then ended up not caring for it.  I was transitioning to a more CM style homeschool and I just couldn’t make it fit.  Now that I have a better understanding (such as it is) of CM I might look at it differently and use it to fit our family, but for me it seems too hard to do that, but that’s just me.  It does have some great activities to add to your history studies/great pictures, etc.  But, for my kids it was very difficult to narrate the type of lessons that were presented.  There has been a discussion about this on the forum (more than one, I believe)….I’d find it for you, but I just can’t right now…it might help you out some.

My boys enjoy our history much more now that we are just reading living books/timeline/discussion, etc.  I feel more in control doing it this way then just adding in activities when we can.  HTH

Thank you.  I will do a search on here and look for the discussion!
