I love reading any of Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories. I just love his language like “best beloved” and “most scruciating idle”. The language and sort of rythm of his stories feel very calm and peaceful. My favorite is “The Butterfly That Stamped” I laugh every time.

Our favorite picture books include many listed here. I think we’ve found some more favorite chapter books too. This past term we read Ginger Pye by Eleanor Estes. Dd7 and ds5 liked it so much that I got Pinky Pye through ILL. We will probably start it Mon.
