Monthly meet up at Los Angeles Arboretum in Southern California

Hi everyone!

My name is Nedra. I have 5 kiddos…3 graduated and 2 (twin daughters) who are 13 and beginning 8th grade next school year. We have homeschooled 23 years, all more relaxed, CM style with lots of nature study. My children love and enjoy all ages of children.

We have L.A. Arboretum passes and visit about once a month on a weekday and about once a month with my husband on the weekend. We are studying Botany next school year (2019-20). We are blessed to live in an area that is heavily animal/bird/plant populated naturally and have many gardens. But we still love our arboretum trips! These trips are very informal involving natural observation, appreciation, and exercise/play, though my children do love to stop and sketch.
