We’ve watched some good movies during the first twelve weeks of module 4. Thought some of you might like them, too. After several weeks, it’s fun to watch Disney’s Robin Hood. You’ll be able to hear lots of Medieval sayings, etc., which make it even more fun to watch. A Danny Kaye film called, The Court Jester, is absolutely hilarious. We got the giggles that lasted for days from that ’30s picture. And, this week, we watched El Cid, starring Charlton Heston and Sophis Loren. It’s an epic length, but very well done.

We have Robin Hood, but borrowed the other two through the free inter library loan system at the large library in our area. We just received the DVD version of Macaulay’s Cathedral and will watch that next week. It may bring the book “to life.”. I’m not sure. If it’s a keeper, I’ll post about it here.

Do any of you have other module 4 movie suggestions? I have a ling list, bit these are the ones we’ve been able to find so far. They bring out even more conversation than the usual movie viewing because we’ve read and narrated the topics beforehand. It’s making for some fun family entertainment and extending educational discussion.

    Blessings,
