Hello at SCM. We’ll be doing Hist/Bib/Geo Module 4 next year (medieval, etc.). For our music, art, etc. studies, I’d like to try to incorporate artists & composers that were in that time period, to kind of tie it all together. How do I know which modules in those artistic areas on SCM might relate to the history Module 4? Thanks a lot for your help on where I should start w/ this for next year.

Let’s see . . . Middle Ages and Renaissance artists and composers. Here are some I can think of tonight.

    Artists

    • Giotto
    • Botticelli
    • Leonardo
    • Michelangelo
    • Raphael

    Composers

    • Um . . . All the ones I can think of are late 1600s and beyond.

    Anybody else?

How about some music that supplies the *mood* of the period? Here is one example that Amazon has:

We love to play things like this softly in the background during lunch.
