    We are really enjoying Then and Now Bible Maps and The Oxford First Ancient History.  Thanks for updating these book selections!

    Oh, good! I’m so glad. And the best part is that you will continue using both for modules 2 and 3, so you’ll be sure to get your money’s worth out of them! Smile

    I have not seen “The Oxford First Ancient History” book and I would like to use something I already have. Is there another book that I can use to supplement? I haven’t seen the Oxford book so I don’t know what specific info it contains.

    I have the following books:

    * Kingfisher History Encyclopedia

    * The Story of the Acient World

    * A Picturesque Tale of Progress

    Thank you!

    You’re always welcome to substitute a different book rather than one of my suggested ones, Sharon. If you look at Oxford First Ancient History in the CM Bookfinder, you’ll see a link to let you view the book on Amazon. Then you can look inside it and get a feel for its chapters and contents. Unfortunately, the sample pages are from the first couple of chapters that are evolutionary (which we don’t use), but I hope the contents page will at least give you an idea of what’s in the book. Most of the chapters are written in a very conversational tone.

    Just as a heads up, that book is used again in Module 2 and Module 3.
