Module 1 & 5 book replacements?

    Hi wondering if anyone found a good replacement for: Growing up in Ancient Egypt, Daniel Boone:His Own Story,The Ocean of Truth:Story of Sir Isaac Newton? I am not able to find them at a low,low, price and therefore i need to use something else, but I don’t know what would be good alternatives? common enough that I could possibly get at the library? Thanks so much, billiejo

     I just saw a copy  of Daniel Boone His Own Story on ebay for 7.21. Not sure if that is low enough for you, but it is a start. Here is the link, you might want to check it out?

    Also, I have a copy of The Ocean of Truth we will be done with soon, when do you need it? It is kinda dog eared, lol, I think its been dropped in the bath once or twice, but still in good shape for reading:)

    HI, thanks for the info on the ebay item, I just really dont want to spend any money on these 3 books i need,(i’ve spent enough already changing curriculums) and just wanted to use the local library cause it’s close to me and almost all the other books i am getting there anyway, except a few i bought that were really cheap. I did see they had 4 books about Daniel boone and 5 about sir isaac newton (in the childrens biography section) so i was hoping one of them would do? but really want one that will be considered a living book,,, or i could just wing it and get one that looks close  just to cover the person?

    Now i dont have a clue about the Growing up in Ancient Egypt one? I dont know what would come close or where to look in the library?? I did a search on egypt and it brought up TONS of Egypt but not really what would come close to that particular story? Any ideas would be great! Thanks again Billiejo

    When you go online to search your local library for the books, search just ancient egypt for the “growing up…” book – I was able to find it this way, I could not find it searching the whole title or even by the Author’s name as I believe her name is A. Rosalie David.

    Rebekahy: i searched as you said and it brought up 420 items and then i did her name as above and it did bring up some of her items but not the growing up in ancient Egypt one, thanks for trying to help though!

    Everyone: Any other suggestions on another book? instead of that one? thanks billiejo

    Hi yes i go online and search on my library sight and you click “all” for all librarys in there inter library loan system and nobody has itCry,,, so i went to Tapestry of grace sight and looked in their Year 1 plan to see what they use to cover ancient egypt,, and got some book titles they use that the library has or can get through interlibrary loan , i will just use those ideas to cover the topic i guess,  thanks to you all for trying to help, blessing billiejo
