  •  I just saw Mathematics Power Learning listed in the curriculum guide in the back of When Children Love to Learn and wondered if anyone has any experience with this program? I have never heard of it until now and not that impressed with the sample lesson on their website. However, I know that experience speaks louder than a bad website and I would love any feedback.

No experience with the curriculum, but what is “When children love to learn”?

When Children Love to Learn is a book. The general editor is Elaine Cooper but it has chapters written by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, Jack Beckman, Maryellen St. Cyr and others. The subtitle of the book is A Practical Application of Charlotte Mason’s Philosophy for Today and I think that pretty much sums it up. I have really enjoyed it. Not only is it informative but very encouraging for those of us on this journey.

Thanks!  I’ll see if my library has it.
