    Thanks so much, Christie.

    If I could bother you with one more question at your convenience…did you decide to go with Primer for your dd? I have a dd5 1/2 who will be starting kindergarten in the fall, and I am wondering whether I should buy Primer or Alpha for her.

    Any quick thoughts?

    I bought it, but haven’t used it much. Most is too easy for her. I like the place value parts, but I would skip it and buy only Alpha if I had it to do over.

    bradstreet, I would second that about skipping Primer. I did use it with my first two kids (we have been using math u see for about 6 years now),but

    child #3 disliked it so much that I am looking for a different way to teach K math.

    One book I came across is Math Games by Peggy Kaye – looked like it had a lot of really fun ways to teach basic math.

    Thanks, Christie and Alicia, for the Primer discussion. I think I’ll go with Alpha.
